Photo first, visible nests only
Visible Wasp Nest Help
Built by Arlin, a 12-year-old CEO, and friends. We photo-check visible outside nests, figure out what kind of wasp it is, and only take jobs that are actually safe for us to handle.

Hard no: underground nests, wall nests, attic nests, vents, hidden nests, nests inside structures, or super aggressive colonies.
What we can handle
The nest has to be outside, visible, reachable, and small/manageable. If it looks too dangerous, we say no and tell you to call a licensed pest professional.
Paper wasps
Open comb nests on eaves, roof edges, porches, sheds, fences, or other visible outside spots.
Visible jackets
Only if the nest is visible outside, manageable from photos, and not underground, in a wall, or entering a hidden space.
Visible hornets
Visible outside nests can be reviewed from photos. Hidden, structural, or super aggressive nests get declined.
Real wasp suit
The Wasp Family has protective wasp gear for approved visible jobs, so photo review can consider more than tiny nests.
Outside only
Roof edges, eaves, porch corners, sheds, fences, patio covers, and other visible exterior spots.
Baggable only
If the nest cannot be safely reached or bagged, it is not a Wasp Family job.
Photo approved
No surprise visits. We look at the picture first and decide if it fits.
Safety call
If it feels too risky, hidden, or super active, we will decline and recommend a pro.
Mystery wasp check
Send the photo. We figure it out.
If you do not know what kind of wasp it is, that is okay. Send a clear photo of the nest and where the insects are going. We will try to identify it and explain if it is accepted or declined.
- Send a close photo and a farther-back photo.
- Show if the insects are sitting on a visible nest or entering a hole.
- Tell us the height, size, and where it is attached.
Still declined
No underground nests, wall cracks, attic nests, vents, ceiling/roof cavities, hidden nests, or anything going inside the structure.
Before you text
A good message saves time and keeps everyone safer. Send these details first so we can say yes, no, or maybe.
Close nest photo
Show the comb or nest shape so we can tell if it is paper wasp, yellow jacket, hornet, or something else.
Far-back photo
Show the wall, roof edge, porch, shed, fence, or area around it so we know how reachable it is.
Size and height
Tell us if it is golf-ball, baseball, softball, basketball, or bigger, plus about how high it is.
Entry point photo
If insects are going into a hole, crack, vent, or ground opening, that usually means declined.

Wasp science
Know what you are looking at.
Paper wasps usually have visible open comb. Yellow jackets are often more hidden and defensive. Hornets can build covered nests. Mystery wasps need a photo check before we say yes.
Photo
You send a clear picture of the nest and the wasps.
ID
We check if it looks like paper wasps, yellow jackets, hornets, or mystery wasps.
Safety
If it is hidden, underground, too aggressive, or structural, we decline it.
Plan
If accepted, we choose Bronze, Premium Plus, or Premium Advanced Plus.
Species and nest clues
These clues help, but the photo decides. Mystery wasps are okay to ask about.
Paper wasps
Usually open comb cells, often under eaves or roof edges. These are the main Wasp Family specialty.
Yellow jackets
Often defensive and often hidden. Only visible outside nests can be considered after photo review.
Hornets
Can be more intense and may make covered nests. Visible/manageable nests can be considered after photo review.
Mystery wasps
Send the photo. We try to identify it and explain if it is accepted or declined.
Hidden activity
Wasps entering holes, vents, walls, attics, or roof gaps are declined.
Visible nest
If the whole nest can be seen from outside, it is easier to photo-check and price.
